Time for blossoms, daffodils and fields of tulips...

I took these when I was living in England, unfortunately there is not much blossom where I am now in The Netherlands, but there will be tulips for sure! I’m looking forward to tracking them down over the next few weeks! 🌸🌸🌸

The lake here is beautiful all year round, but especially in the spring when there is less greenery to block the views.

This past year I’ve explored a lot around this area I call home, and was surprised how much there was to see.

My favourite place though is the lake, just five minutes from my house. Whether just walking or biking alongside, or kayaking or sailing across in the summer, it’s the perfect place to spend time and relax.

We had some warmer weather here, but now it feels like winter again 😶 hopefully it will become more spring like soon!
Other than warmer weather, flowers are my other favourite part of spring. 🌸🌸

Missing tropical places so much right now 😔
In the mean time, I’ve been carrying on with my running and have made progress, so I’m happy with that. I’m back up to a half hour of running, half of what I was able to do before my injury, so getting there!

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary are doing a great work to ensure rescued elephants can have the rest of their lives some where saved where they are loved. And they also do community programs to help with the medical care of elephants as well as education. If you’re ever headed out there, definitely look them up!

It’s almost all gone here now, but it was so pretty while it lasted.
I am secretly quite ready for spring though!
Who else is ready for Spring? And who’d rather winter stuck around a bit longer?

Cold weather or warm weather? Which one for you?

I’m definitely team warm weather, but I love the snow, and can put up with cold weather just for that!
When I lived in Belgium it used to get around minus fifteen degrees Celsius for a few weeks, and that was pretty much the coldest I can put up with it! Unless it’s for winter sports, since you seem to get so warm 😂
I know those of you in the US or Eastern Europe, and other places will have probably experienced much colder, I don’t know how you do it!
